Mark Hoppus has kept himself pretty busy during quarantine. He's been hosting Twitch livestreams to raise money for Children's Hospital LA (and answer questions about songs he'll never play live and whether or not blink-182 is reuniting with Tom DeLonge); he's been hanging out with Twenty One Pilots' Josh Dun; he's been discussing Tiger King with DeLonge; he revealed his favorite blink song of all time, and on top of all that he's been writing new music.

On Wednesday (June 10), Hoppus shared a photo on Instagram from a writing session with blink's producer John Feldmann.

"Writing remotely in quarantine, Idaho to Los Angeles," he captioned the image, which shows Hoppus FaceTiming Feldmann while recording on his laptop.

During one of his Twitch sessions, Hoppus revealed that he was working on new blink material. “I recorded literally yesterday so upcoming record is already happening,” he said at the time.

Travis Barker also recently revealed the band had recorded a song called "Quarantine" that was set to drop "in the next two weeks." That was two weeks ago, so it's unclear if they still plan on putting it out. Regardless, new blink music is in the works. And that's good news.
