Happy Socks' newest capsule collection honors the late, great David Bowie.

On Tuesday (February 16), the brand unleashed their colorful collection dedicated to Bowie featuring two limited-edition designs based on some of his iconic fashion. While the Silver Lining design lifts a page from his zebra outfit worn on his 1976 Station to Station LP, another design called the Ziggy Special takes a page from the work created for the late star by Japanese fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto.

"When we knew we were doing an homage to Bowie, we knew instantly that it should be a tribute to his unbelievably creative outfits," Paula Maso, creative director of Happy Socks, said in a statement. "Bowie was a shape-shifter like no other, and kept on surprising us for decades. It made sense for us to try and translate eight of his most iconic looks into miniature: socks."

Happy Socks' latest venture features single socks and gift boxes for adults and children. While the former includes six pairs of crew cocks, as well as 3-pack and 6-pack gift boxes, the youth selections feature four different designs, as well as a 4-pack gift box. The Bowie-inspired line can be purchased via Happy Socks' website, as well as in select retailers.
