Pearl Jam release a third version of the video for their new song "Dance Of The Clairvoyants"

Pearl Jam released its third video, (yes third video) for its single, ”Dance of the Clairvoyants.”

Eddie Vedder gives us major Bob Ross vibes at the beginning of the visual as he paints the ever-expansive universe onto a blank canvas.

Throughout the video, imagery showcasing the unpredictability of the Earth, nature, and celestial bodies are superimposed over the band members while they perform the song.

“Confusion is to commotion/ What love is to our devotion/ Imperceptibly big/ Big as the ocean/ And equally hard to control” Vedder sings in the first verse as imagery flashes with crashing of waves and flashes of lightning.

The previous two videos for the single — “Mach I” and “Mach II” — featured many of the same cosmos and nature imagery used in the third video but, thankfully, the band takes center stage in the final installment of the three videos.

While this may be the third video, Pearl Jam wrote on Twitter that ”Dance of the Clairvoyants (Mach III)” is its “first official music video in 7 years.”

“Enjoyed every second of it. The song keeps getting stronger, and it’s so good to feel that you guys are psyched about this new album and tour,” one fan tweeted. “The energy you deliver is massive. It’s been 7 long years, but it was worth the wait.”

Another fan loved the symbolism and imagery in the video and applauded the band on the incorporation. “This cut captivated me with first [stet] video. The grief of witnessing the collapse of ecosystems on a global scale resonates in the lyrics, the sharp guitar riffs and the solid rhythmic base,” they wrote.

”Dance of the Clairvoyants” marks the band's first single off its highly-anticipated eleventh studio album, Gigaton. This will be Pearl Jam's first full-length album since 2013's Grammy-winning Lightning Bolt.
