After being forced to postpone due to rising COVID-19 numbers, The Flaming Lips finally played their first set of "space bubble" concerts, and from the looks of it they pulled them off!

The band performed two shows at Oklahoma City's The Criterion over the weekend, with each band and audience member confined in a giant bubble. The venue was filled with 100 quarantine bubbles that could each hold three concert-goers. While in the bubble, people could do whatever they want; however, outside attendees were required to wear masks and keep a six-foot distance.

“We are going to great lengths to make sure what happens here doesn’t happen at a normal show, and what I mean is lots of people very excited, screaming at each other, sweating on each other, sometimes hugging each other, in each other’s faces," vocalist Wayne Coyne explained in a Q&A prior to the shows. "We still want you to get excited. We still want you to scream. We still want you to sweat. We still want you to have everything that a normal concert has. You just have to do it inside of this bubble that will be waiting for you.“

Coyne documented the event in a slew of Instagram posts and a fan also shared footage from the concert. Watch that and check out the set lists for both nights below.
