Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night as the show's musical guest.

But the Foo Fighters drummer wasn't content to just play the show with his usual band. Hawkins' new album, Get the Money, which arrived this past fall, includes an array of guest features.

Those cameos include Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell and Hawkins' Foos soul mate Dave Grohl. Both musicians were in town, so they each join the Coattail Riders for the night.

Farrell provided additional vocals for the song "I Really Blew It," as he does on the album version. Grohl played drums for both songs in the set, "Middle Child," being the second.

Grohl seems to be enjoying his brief return to the drum riser. He reprised his role as one of the world's most influential drummers over the weekend when he reunited with Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear to play a short set of Nirvana songs for charity.

The Foo Fighters have been hard at work on a new album for the past several months.
