In Episode 18 we talk to the man now known as the ‘First Man of NZ’, Clarke Gayford.

Clarke has from the very beginning lived a full life and still does with his hit TV show Fish of the Day. From humble beginnings on a remote Gisborne farm, Clark spent his childhood fishing, moved to Palmerston North Boy’s High then Otago University before his passion for television and media brought on a move to Christchurch. He is a man who has seen a few sights and taken the learnings in the process.

In this episode we go in-depth with Clarke on this journey, how he began his career, his success in television and radio, his love of fishing, the experience of fatherhood, particularly in such a spotlight, and go on to talk men’s health, what he does to keep his in check, and his thoughts on where we are at and where we are going as a country.
