The latest single from Liam Gallagher's forthcoming album 'WHY ME? WHY NOT.' is titled "One Of Us" and in true Gallagher form is about "family, friendship and a sense of belonging".

Co-written with Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow) the meditative, emotionally-driven rock song begins with the intriguing lines, "hey kid did you know / today sixteen years ago / it was you and I for the last time?" The track features Liam's son Gene Gallagher on bongos while Yeah Yeah Yeah's Nick Zinner plays guitar. "I love the groove and the gospel outro", says Liam of 'One Of Us', "it reminds me of The Sweet Inspirations'. 'WHY ME? WHY NOT.' is released on September 20th, and will be supported with a full UK tour.

Gallagher has released three tracks off the album, "Once", "Shockwave" and "The River". The album is a collaboration with Wyatt and Greg Kurstin, who both worked on Gallaghers last album 'As You Were'.
